Cancer Screening Disparities
Dr. Lauren Snyder, MD, a family medicine physician at Corewell Health, discusses screening disparities in the LGBTQ+ community. In this presentation, she explores how to address these gaps and highlights the vital role a trusted primary care provider (PCP) plays in delivering inclusive and affirming healthcare.
Queer Affirming Sex Therapy
Sarah Hunt, LMSW, LCSW, CST is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, Licensed Masters/Clinical Social Worker, and owner of You Bloom Therapy. AFFIRMING DOULA CARE FOR LGBTQ+ FAMILIES
Kylia Dantzler-Morgan is a Commiunity-Based Doula and the owner of You are Seen (SUN) Doula Services in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this webinar, she highlighted the unique role doulas play in supporting queer, trans, and BIPOC birthing people—offering practical tools and systemic context to help providers and allies create more inclusive and affirming birth environments.
CHRONIC PAIN IN THE QUEER COMMUNITY
Sarah Parker (PT, DPT) is an orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapist based in Michigan. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a clinical emphasis and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. Sarah is currently working toward her Pelvic Rehab Practitioner Certification while providing care to intersex, endosex, and transgender individuals in an outpatient setting.
